The rider and pillion rider of a motorcycle (over 50cc) and auto cycle (less than 50cc) must always wear a crash helmet when travelling on any public road.
(The fine is 85 euros).

A rider of motorcycle or an  autocyle may carry only one person over 12 years old; sitting astride the seat and behind the driver’s postion.

There are some areas where it is forbidden to drive racing motorcycles between 12:00 AM – 04:00 PM and 08:00 PM – 06:00 AM. They are usually tourist streets in all coastal holiday resorts. These areas are signed.

Riding in Cyprus can be particularly pleasurable, especially if you go in the national park at Akamas or up to the mountains.
